  3. Chinook Book: winners announced.

1. Fall Festival
Preparations are underway for the Fall Festival and DCP‘s “Trick or Treat Trail.” We can’t wait to see everyone on Oct 24 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.  There will be fun games, yummy treats, photo opportunities and more!

Not sure what to wear? Check out our costume exchange. We’re still accepting donations and new items are being added regularly – check frequently for the perfect ghost and goblin attire!

2. School Sick Policy
We are already seeing norovirus, respiratory illness, and strep in the classrooms and children have been coming to school sick.

Our policy states that children need to be fever free for 24 hours before they can return to school. Children experiencing diarrhea and/or vomiting may not return to school until they have gone 24 hours without an episode. Children with severe coughing and respiratory symptoms should remain at home. Finally, if a child does not feel well enough to participate comfortably in usual classroom activities they should be cared for at home. Parents should feel free to call the office if they have questions about whether or not their child is well enough to attend school.

3. Chinook Book Winners
Thanks to everyone who supported DCP by purchasing a Chinook coupon book this year. Congratulations to Meagan McFarland for winning a $10 gift card to Sweet Action Ice Cream and to Caitlin Smith for winning two tickets to the Children’s Museum.  If you forgot to get your book, please stop by the office Monday or Thursday next week and grab one before they are gone.
