UPDATES & REMINDERS
Kindergarten Information Night
Kindergarten Information Night is Next Week!
Who: Parents of Pre-K and 3/4’s students, or anyone who would like more information!
Where: Denver Cooperative Preschool
When: Tuesday, September 27, 7 – 9 p.m.
What and Why: Join Mary, Janee, Katie and Graham to discuss this important next step after DCP! We will provide a “Road Map to Kindergarten” including important deadlines, options and resources available, as well as questions you should be asking.
DCP will be taking class pictures and offering student portraits with Bloom Photography. The dates are Sept. 28th and Sept. 29th. Look for information in your parent pockets around ordering photos. In addition, there will be a drop-in time each day for Parent-Tot families interested in having their child’s photo taken (photographers will not be available on Friday).
Atomic Cowboy and the Denver Biscuit Company Dine Out-October 4
The Atomic Cowboy on South Broadway will generously donate 100% of proceeds from dine in and carry out orders to anyone who mentions the DCP Dine Out day upon ordering. This all day event (8am-2am) is a great way to support DCP while having a drinking or a bite to eat!
Grandparents and Special Friends Day-October 6
Just two weeks away! DCP is excited for Grandparents and Special Friends Day if you have not done so already, please contact Mary in the office at 303-777.6867 or email@example.com to RSVP for your grandparent or special friend. There will be a photo booth, ice cream bar from the generosity of Bonnie Brae ice cream, and teacher led activities for a very memorable evening. Parents are encouraged to drop off grandparents/special friends and children then head to Novo on 6th & Gilpin for a beer, wine or cocktail. Novo will donate 15% back to DCP.
The DCP staff is asking parents to be advised that the log-backed seat wall on the front playground is not designed as a climbing structure. While the logs are so inviting, children should not climb along the top of the stumps on the seat wall unassisted. Please help us to keep the children safe when playing on the front playground outside of school hours!
