Colorado Gives Day SUCCESS!
Woohoo! Big thanks to everyone in the DCP community and beyond that helped to support us during Colorado Gives Day! We far exceed our goal of raising $25,000 by raising $37,635!!! This outpouring of generosity allows us to meet 100% of the scholarship needs this year as well as an amazing start for the 2017-2018 scholarship fund.

Pancake Breakfast
The Family Activities Committee did a great job hosting a fun and festive Pancake Breakfast last Saturday! So many families came out to enjoy this DCP tradition.

Grocery Cards
Everyone has been doing a great job using their grocery cards. The Social Fundraising Committee wanted to say thanks by selecting one random family to receive a $50 King Soopers gift card. Congratulations to the family of Bodhi Liebetrau (2/3 TTH PM) you are the winner this month! You can find your gift card in an envelope next to the Grocery Card binder.

Lunch Bunch Lottery
It’s almost time for the Lunch Bunch Lottery for Spring Semester!! Lunch Bunch spots are available to students age 3 and up. Forms will be available in the DCP Lobby starting January 9th. Please turn them in to the DCP office by Jan 18th. (January will be Drop In only.)

Spring Lottery is a true “draw from a hat” lottery for spots. Parents will be given up to 2 spots, additional spots may be given based on availability.

Permanent spots run February 1st-May 12th. Lunch bunch is $10/day.”

Food Drive
DCP is partnering with the Community of Christ Church to help deliver backpacks full of nonperishable food items to students in need at Village East Elementary School in Littleton. This is a year round partnership. However, with the upcoming extended holiday break, many of the families in the Village East Community will experience an increase in food insecurity while out of school. You can support this by bringing in non-perishable food items (cash donations also accepted) to DCP throughout the school year.

Enjoy your holiday break and we will see you in the New Year!
