Families who miss the Lottery may request placement on any class Waitlist. Submit your registration and pay online. Our secure system requires online electronic payment. E-check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are available options.
If the Waitlist Fee is a financial hardship for your family please review the scholarship information posted on our website and contact Janee McConnell at 303-777-6867 to discuss options. DCP does not waive Lottery, Waitlist, Enrollment or Class Fund fees.
How the Waitlist Works
Your Waitlist application will be processed in the order it is received. Openings in all classes are filled from the Waitlist through the end of the calendar year or at the Director’s discretion. DCP will call you if a spot becomes available for your child and you will have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer. We do fill from the Waitlist throughout the year and in some years have exhausted the Waitlist for some classes.
Your application will be kept on the Waitlist until the current school year is finished. You are welcome to contact us to check your Waitlist status. Please note that we balance the class by gender when filling spots from the Waitlist. Waitlists are not carried over from year-to-year; you must re-apply each year.
