Graham Carson

Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher

Graham Carson has been an educator ever since graduating high school, and hopes to continue to until the day he retires.  He attended college at Georgia State University while working in a preschool and after school program, taking classes for part of his B.A. in ECE.  From there, he moved to Boulder, CO, where he worked as a lead teacher at the Acorn School for Early Childhood Development in the Pre-K classroom.  During this time, he finished his degree in ECE at Kendall College.  Then, he moved to New York City, where he helped to create and start two different cooperative schools, one of which is still open today.  Feeling the itch to head back west, he and his wife Jesica moved to Denver, where he luckily found employment at DCP.  He has won the Teaching Team Award from the Denver Early Childhood Council and continues his own education through various professional development opportunities.  He loves working closely with families at DCP and hopes to spend the next period of his life helping to teach kids and and families at his favorite school in the world.
