• A Great Place for Your Child

Walking through our doors, you’ll know you have entered a special place. Denver Cooperative Preschool’s well equipped, age appropriate classrooms bubble with excitement and fun and are filled with a carefully chosen and thoughtfully arranged collection of open-ended toys, books, puzzles blocks of many shapes and sizes, water and sand tables, dress up clothes and dramatic play equipment.

Welcome to Denver Cooperative Preschool

A group of parents founded our preschool in 1960 with the mission to guide young children on the adventure of self-discovery through play. We believe that a child’s early experience is the foundation for adult potential, that parents are the key to a child’s unique development and that play is essential in the learning process of a child.

Tours

We are so excited that you are thinking about coming to visit our school! Before you schedule a tour – we ask that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with our website and take a look at all of the great programs we offer, our daily schedules, tuition rates, and age groups that we serve. As opposed to handing out information packets on tours, or sending out printed information in the mail – we have worked hard to save a few trees, and make sure that most of the FAQs and information about our school is right here on our awesome website instead!

When you are ready to schedule a tour, please call the schol at 303-777-6867 OR email our Assistant Director Mary Nelson, at mary@dcpplay.org  to see how fun it is!

We regularly schedule tours on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Fridays at either 9:30 or 1:00 – and yes!… your children are more than welcome to join you 🙂
