This site is owned by the Denver Cooperative Preschool (“DCP”) and operated by the staff and volunteers. Information gathering and privacy are important topics for parents and visitors of this site. This document describes how information is collected from this web site. Additional information gathering and privacy policies for current students is available by contacting the school.

Information Gathered by This Site

  • Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submission for enquiries, wait lists, enrollment, or other activities

  • Information DCP gathers through web tracking tools derived mainly by how you use the site.

Third Parties

Your information may be shared, disclosed, or exchanged with third party providers including our registration system, SchoolEnroll (aka “Thriva”). Thriva maintains a separate and distinct security policy that DCP is not responsible for. Additionally, DCP uses various tools, including Google Analytics, to understand the tracking information you passively provide by using this site. Use of Information

DCP uses the information to enhance the user experience on our site. It also provides us with ways to follow up with you if you are interested in becoming a part of the co-op. DCP may use information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic newsletters. DCP sends out newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule, and occasionally sends out special editions when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing.

Children

Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), DCP never knowingly requests personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. The content of this site is geared towards informing our community and is intended for people over the age of 18.

Cookies

The web properties of DCP may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The only personal information a cookie contains is information you supply yourself. A cookie can not read data from your computer or other device, nor read other files created by other sites. Cookies help DCP track usage patterns and aid in the functionality of the site.

DCP believes that our information collecting is inline with average internet participation. If you feel you must opt out of this information collection, you may:
