Donations
Your donations are part of what makes the Denver Cooperative Preschool run!
Any fundraising income above what is budgeted will be used to directly enhance the school or to keep tuition low. It is important to note that fundraising helps to support our operating budget and is not just for “extras.”
As a nonprofit cooperative preschool, we rely heavily on our fundraising efforts throughout the course of the year. It’s the generosity and support from our wonderful community that helps us to continue offering high quality programming, provide rich classroom experiences, maintain our facilities, as well as expanding our curriculum, and provide continuing education for our staff!
Tax Credit for Donations
The Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit (CCCC) was established to promote child care in Colorado. When you make a donation to DCP the state of Colorado allows you to take a 50% tax credit on your state income taxes in addition to the regular state and federal deductions for a charitable contribution.
Fundraising
You may make a donation at any time, but throughout the school year our Fundraising team is busy hosting fun events for our families to attend and contribute. These events provide an opportunity to build our cooperative community, have fun and contribute to the school!
Annual Auction
DCP hosts an Auction each year that continues to be our biggest fundraiser of the year! This event is typically an evening out with current DCP families, alumni and friends, however, this year our Auction will be virtual.
