Lead Educator - Toddler

Katie Sullivan has been in the field of education since graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Psychology. She is a graduate of the Stanley British Primary Teacher Residency Program. Katie started working at DCP in 2000! She has taught every programming level at DCP with the exception of the Parent Tot class. Two of her three sons are DCP alumni. Katie, along with a teaching partner received the 2016-17 “Wonder Team” award recognizing excellence in early childhood at Denver’s Early Childhood Council Awards Gala. In addition to being a teacher at DCP, Katie has also been the Assistant Director for DCP the last 4 years. Having missed being in the classroom Katie decided to return to the classroom and will be a lead educator for the Toddler Program and will also serve as the Instructional Coach for DCP Staff. It is apparent that Katie loves teaching and DCP! Sharing the journey of childhood and education with families has brought her much joy over the many years at DCP!
