Lead Educator - Older Preschool
Hi everyone! My name is Sara, and I am thrilled to be joining the DCP community as the Associate Educator for the Older Preschool classroom this Fall. I grew up in beautiful, sunny Colorado where I received a BA in English from the University of Denver and completed a teaching licensure program at Metro State, specializing in Early Childhood. I have recently returned from Chiang Mai, Thailand where I spent the last four years teaching five and six year-olds at an international school. Fostering children’s independence, creativity, and emotional intelligence are central to my teaching philosophy, and my experiences abroad have deepened my appreciation for the diverse cultures, languages, and family traditions that make up any given classroom.
